Japanese Ikebana Bamboo Form Vase – Handmade Rustic Ceramic with Original Tomobako

$99.00

This handmade Japanese ikebana vase is inspired by natural bamboo segments, featuring a softly textured rustic glaze with warm earth-tone transitions.

Its cylindrical form with small side handles reflects traditional Japanese flower vessels designed for simple, expressive arrangements. The surface shows natural firing variations, subtle kiln marks, and gentle glaze pooling - embodying wabi-sabi aesthetics that celebrate imperfection and handcrafted character.

The base inscription reads “つくし窯 十周年記念”, indicating this piece was created as a 10th anniversary commemorative work by Tsukushi kiln. Such commemorative studio pieces are typically produced in limited quantities, adding both cultural and collectible value.

The vase comes with its original wooden tomobako box, hand-inscribed, further confirming studio provenance.

Ideal for:
– Ikebana and minimalist flower arrangements
– Tea room or meditation space
– Tokonoma or shelf display
– Japanese interior styling
– Ceramic collectors and meaningful gifts
